Dear all:
This will be my travel blog this summer. I hope readers enjoy my musings, and at times odd sense of humor. Entries may be rather sporadic, and on various topics, but I should have exciting things to post on (depending on your taste...Hawaiian flora, Australian photos). I plan to take lots of pictures with a low grade camera - so I am not devastated if it goes missing, gets eaten, etc. - so those who partake in friendly photography snobbery will have to forgive me.
I am very excited to be almost done my graduate degree, but at the same time I am sad to physically leave many colleagues and friends as I move on to new endeavors; while I plan to keep in touch via cyberspace, this is not the same as face-to-face interactions. However, much awaits me in what seems like a world of opportunity, so I will make the most of it.
